Terms of use
Last updated: 26 April 2026.
These terms govern your use of the chep.co.uk website. They are not the Energy Performance Contract (EPC) under which the programme is delivered. The EPC is a separate bilateral contract signed per site after assessment.
Use of the site
You may use this site for lawful purposes related to evaluating the programme. You may not use it in any way that could damage the site, impair availability, or breach applicable law.
Intellectual property
All content on this site (text, images, design, code) is owned by CHEP or licensed for use on this site. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission, except for personal, non-commercial reading and printing.
No warranty for marketing content
The site provides general marketing information about the programme. While we work to keep figures and statements accurate, all content is provided on an as-is basis. The only contractual representations are those set out in the EPC contract you sign per site, following assessment.
Numeric saving figures referenced on the site are typical results from verified VorteXtract installations. Site-specific outcomes will vary based on system characteristics and operating conditions.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, CHEP excludes liability for any indirect, special, or consequential loss arising from use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
